I don't think the radiator would make the car run cooler unless you had a lower temp therm. A regular therm would be able to control temps within an 'approved range.' That said, I'm sure you folks with turbos run much hotter, so maybe the regular therm isn't good enough for you, but a 'regular' radiator would.
I agree we have a pressure releasing ET cap, which usually doesn't work before the regular ET cracks open. If you have aluminum radiator and aluminum ET...I was just saying that the build up in pressure could be greater with 'iron clad' system. Do you guys who run FI and have stock radiators have issues with cooling? I don't frequent FI, coz I'm slow!
