So i checked the nuts and everything is tight, I can recreate the sound by raising my car, garbing the spring and pushing it back and forth

Have you checked the condition of your factory top mount? If you can grab and move the spring sounds like the top hat is loose.

top hats were changed about 20k miles ago when I had lowering springs, so they are in good condition. The spring just seems like it can move around too much up top

Let me toss around some ideas with John. I am wondering since you have it "slammed" that is causing the slack.

You can move the spring back and forth while the car is on jack stands or on ground? Also did you use the provided sway end links?

The reason you can move the spring around while on jack stands is because there was not a lot of tension. Is there a way you can send us a video? It will help us better understand the issue.

Thanks for helping us figure out what may be causing the issue with your car. It isn't too common we get someone who is so cooperative lol.

How much stiffer are you wanting? Not something I would like to do considering we find the car rides smooth with our selected springs. But I can try to meet your needs. We are not like KW/ST with various springs. We have a limited springs for the applications we have.

I actually have brand new tophats OEM, the endlinks you provided, new FCAB OEM. Also to fight the spring chatter i put plastic zipties on the springs in key locations, and most of it is gone... there is still a little bit left...
So about 2-3 months later and 2 track days I feel the shocks going soft, when i am doing 80-90 (in Mexico obviously) the car starts to feel like its hopping... most people wont notice that because i use my 330cic with new OEM shocks installed about a year ago... which is a lot less rebound when driving on the same road...

both as far as the ride-height, the front adjuster is 12 threads from the bottom, back is set so that the adjuster is flush on the top with the portion that had the threads on it.

Here are a couple of pictures i took a month ago, where you can see both the small and the big spring's wear marks due to contact... let me know if you guys come up with something...

don't mind the nicks in the springs, those are from the spring compressor tool

Do you have the measurement in inches of your drop?

So we just finished installing a Street Edge coilover set and immediately got front end spring chatter. Very noticeable when turning and during compression and rebound. Took everything apart and noticed it was missing the all-so-important washers between the top spring perch and top hat. Without them the bearing in the top hat wasn't making contact with the upper perch causing the spring to bind and turn every time the wheel was turned. Now with everything in place the top hat turns freely on the coilover when fully assembled and no more noise. We had the new kid working on this, just goes to show you that if you want it done right you gotta do it yourself. Hope that helps you guys with the spring noise.
