I just tried it last week. Bought the elm327 bluetooth off ebay for about $25 bucks and connect to my galaxy vibrant s android. Once you paired it the bluetooth code for elm327 is 6789.
It works great. good luck |

Great! Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. When installed does it get in the way?

If you already have a scanner then what else does this do?

If you have a bluetooth adapter, this program Torque can display a TON of information. CEL codes, Acceleration, Rev, Throttle, Speed, Psi, coolant temp, mpg, 0-60, 1/4mile 1/8 mile, HP, Acceleration G's, Logs of everything. Seems amazing to use once, don't know if it would come in handy daily, though.

I wonder how accurate the performance readings are.

BRINGING UP THIS POST ....
I'm highly interested in buying this app. It promises a lot, but I need to know if someone here has used it and how pleased they are. I bought the Google Nexus tablet and want to use it to scan some codes. I also bought the OBD2 cable from ECS for my Jetta about a month ago but haven't used it yet. Some one told me the bluetooth adapter is not necessary, a USB OTG adapter can be used and it's way faster than bluetooth. 1. Where can I find the diagnostic cable for the BMW? 2. Will it actually work with BMW? 3. What features does the app provide that you can share with the community? |

Just look here to read all about it: http://torque-bhp.com/forums/.
I'm using Torque for a couple of years now, and yes, it works like a charm on all OBDII-vehicles.
