+1. Almost impossible to do frame damage from hitting a deer.

Well adjuster is going to go look at the car tomorrow, see what happens. Does anyone know the topic about negotiating if they decide to total it, I read it somewhere here a while back, can't remember and find it thru search

Its hard to say but that doesn't look totaled to me. However it all depends on what they value the car at and how much under the hood stuff needs to be replaced. Also if you have Xenon headlamps, that could make it more expensive.

Doesn't look totaled to me, especially if no airbags went off. Even if there was some frame damage, it can be straightened (to a degree). I cringe when they try do that though.

Also did you keep the deer? That's some good venison!

I hope its not either, but I got a good deal on the car and would make out, upgrAde to a 330 or maybe a Zhp would be nice also now the car won't have a clean title so it would be a loss in the end, I also plan on putting on mtech front now and some other goodies with a fresh paint if I do get it back

Nah I didn't keep the deer, my moms boyfriend gave me some that he had, the sheriff did offer it, but I hit it, then another car ran the deer over, I'm sure the meat was pretty bruised and probably not worth it.

If you took it to a shop and said make it look right for the least money, this looks about 3k worth BUT the insurance company cannot do that, they are required to fix to a higher standard. So depending on what is broke this could easily be totaled.

Update: well insurance just called and I guess they may just total the vehicle, they said the inside of the fender had damage, the radiator and condenser is destroyed and support brackets and some other items he mentioned briefly which puts the damage up to about $8800, I will get the official word tomorrow. Anyone have a idea of how long it takes to get an insurance check?
