Good thread; I like to drink straight but when I'm drinking for an extended amount of time, I'll drink cocktail drinks. If you try any of mine, try the Royal Flush. My favorite drink, but most bartenders leave out the raspberry liquor, so make sure to mention it. Doesn't make a big change, because the peach is really all you need, but it makes a difference to someone that knows the drink.

I always take a royal flush as a shot

I do both, sometimes at the same time. It will be a bit more fruity as a drink because most bartenders will just put more cranberry, but still good if they don't short pour.

If I'm wired from the day I will night cap with one of three things:


Vodka + splash of CranGrape

BlackRussian

GreyGoose + ice

I don't know if there is a name for this but

I do a Gin Sapphire & Tonic with a splash of pickling juice from olives, two olives and a twist. My mouth is watering just typing this.

Is the pickling juice considered the same as bitters? I don't really know about mixed drinks.

I've also had this nasty as shot. I think it's rumplemints with tabasco. The tabasco beads at the bottom. The rumplemints taste like complete shet, then the tabasco burns your stomach.

My latest Margarita recipe:

4 oz silver tequila
2 oz Cointreau
2 oz simple syrup
2 limes, squeezed (about 4 oz)
1 orange, squeezed (about 3 oz)

makes two drinks. The key is fresh limes and oranges.

Super king market. This ad was from June but they had another sale recently. So probably every other month this stuff goes on sale.
