yeah
management is paying for all the work
and in the beginning before any work was done I was told that rent would be reduced "accordingly"
I don't think anyone knew this would turn into such an ordeal with multiple testing and re-cleaning and take over a month
and it doesn't look like the drywall will be put up today
they are doing water leak tests and such before putting the ceiling and wall back up
so I have some numbers in mind but waiting to see what the management offers first

Wow that's a lot of stuff being done! You have a lot of patience for waiting.

so the townhouse I moved into ... built in 2011
been sitting empty for a year since it wasn't selling
so owners/management are renting all the units that did not sell

a few days after moving in, I was in the process of unpacking .. and happened to look up when I was putting something in the closet
found water damage and what appeared to be black mold spores
reported it... someone came out to take samples and test... it is mold

so repairs began ... but second test showed that there was still mold present
the mold was not just on the ceiling but had also spread into the side wall
so ripped open the walls to clean more...
etc etc

so here we are

if this matter is not resolved easily and we have to go to arbitration, then I will let them know that I am an attorney

So, Jake's 8th birthday party was today. Pizza, jumper, presents....... oh yeah, tiff's dad got Jake a Green Machine. So of course we put it together and let the kids have their fun with it. So my brother in law and I decided it would be a good idea to run it down the hill, in front of the house and around the corner...... I didn't make is around the corner

Green Machine - 1
Chad - 0

So here I sit with a pucture hole and cut on my elbow, my arm is raised and I am on the couch licking my wounds
