E36 325i aftermarket exhaust suggestions???

Hey everybody,
Finally getting the hang of this website and I'm looking for some help. I'm trying to find a clean sounding exhaust for my e36 325i. From past knowledge and looking at bavarian autosports website I know that B&B Tri-Flow systems are great and clean sounding but they're a bit out of my price range. Im a college student looking to build a clean bmw, I'm sick of all the cheap body kits and fart can mufflers im seeing around town and want something distinct and clean. I've listened to some Stromung exhaust clips and like their system, and I've also heard some of what magnaflow has to offer.

ANY advice/opinions/pointers would be very appreciated! I'd hate to spend money on an exhaust thats going to wheeze and cough. My price range is somewhere in the vicinity of $500-$700 but at this point I'm willing to look at anything.

Also any opinions on the cosmos v2 cold air intake system? I've heard it's popular with e36 owners and is similiar to the dinan design. http://www.cosmosracing.com/products1.html

Ya I'm on the e46 forum, used to have a E46 328i in the family and im kind of playing off of the mods that i know worked on that car because i trust them. though B&B tri-flow is something i want to find an alternative to. i figured you can put exhaust on an e36 or e46 so it was worth asking if anyone knew if the stromung was good. just put beyern mesh on it yesterday, best decision ive ever made
