K&n
Has anybody had any experience with k&n cold-air systems on the bmw's!(only reason I ask is because they are a tad-bit cheaper than the leading brands)

Don't do it. K&N does not perform as designed for our cars. It caused stalling on my M3. Search these forums and make your own call...

Been completely happy with mine.
Many will get into a battle over K&N supposedly allowing more dirt through the filter than an AFE filter, but whatever.

not worth the money at all. get a dinan long tube they are in the 200 range right now. best producing hp intake for cheaper than a k&n

Why whould sombody put a short ram (hot air) intake in your car when the factory one is a true cold ait intake. The K and N draws hot air in from under hte hood

Hmm... I literally just purchased one online today. I have always been a fan of K&N. Now it looks (because of these posts) that it might not be the best. What to do...
