Luckily no motorplan, car is a bit too old for motorplan, guess I am just a bit crazy in the head as I rather prefer OEM parts for the most part.

I removed the brackets the bumper mount to then removed the whole tow hook assembly then re-fitted the brackets with small spacers to make up for the lack of the tow hook frame.

Small update:

One of the problems of these wheels is that the the offset is pretty ridiculous as with all OEM e46 wheels.




So I spaced them out a bit:

Very nice! May i suggest a black and gray carbon fiber BMW hood + trunk emblem to match your color scheme? I have a black/gray 325i and i just put them on, its a nice touch!

It is around 12mm (was initially custom made for an e34 M5, wanted to use on a e34 540i but the amount of low did not permit this spacer size, so now they are on my e46 )

I have been thinking of replacing the badges with a black and white set for a while, but have not gotten so far to try it out, maybe now is a good time

That is true, but this is what i wanted, it sounds the very close to stock but just a bit louder....but there are some changes to the sound there are some undertones of the s50b30 (euro) as well. Unfortunately i can't properly capture the sound, you will just have to take my word for it that it sounds epic

It was built by a local exhaust shop Van Der Linde systems http://www.vdlsystems.com/VDLSYSTEMS.HTM they are one the best places that do exhausts here in south africa, they do a lot of race car exhausts, in fact when i dropped my car off they where busy with an M3 racecar.
