Electrical issue - Footwell light and license plate lights

Hey guys wondering if anyone has any advice for me.

My passenger side footwell light does not work. Because of this I decided i'd upgrade my interior with an LED kit. I replaced the bulb with the new LED and still nothing. Then I tried the working bulb from the other side and still nothing

Also having the same problem with my license plate lights. The old ones were dead so I replaced them with the new LEDs and nothing, BUT they are NOT throwing an error code on the dash?

Any ideas? Are these somehow by themselves on the same fuse? I wouldnt think so but who knows

For the license plate lights make sure that there is no corrosion on the prongs. For the foot light double check the wire leading to the socket.

Jake, I'm having the same problem with the license plate lights. I bought my ZHP in June and just noticed the other day that my license plate lights don't turn on. I did notice the day after buying the car that the lenses looked really cloudy and opaque..so I removed them and saw this:

I've never seen so much corrosion on license plate prongs in my life. Almost looks like a fire took place there lol. Any tips on how to get my lights working?
I'm extremely pissed off as I just received some nice LEDS yesterday and wont be able to use them.

Oh wow... that's a bad case right there. I would buy some electrical parts cleaner and a thin wire brush. Work out all of that corrosion there (disconnect your battery) until it's free of it. Then see if the bulb works.

Went to autozone this morning and bought some CRC Electronic cleaner and the smallest wire brush they had...which wasn't really small but I did my best with it.

I disconnected the positive battery cable, sprayed and brushed several times, sprayed again and wiped off the excess with a paper towel. Then I reconnected the battery cable, turned on my lights, popped in one of the LED bulbs and nothing...








Theres like a small hole above the passenger side prongs where you see the black circle...IDK what the hell happened to these license plate lights. The car did come with a backup camera installed as you can see in the pics...maybe they fried something while messing around with the wires?
