Anyone ever part out??

Thinking about buying my car back from the insurance company for about 1400, it's a 328ci 2000, with 80k miles, interior was near mint, style 68 wheels with new tires in mint condition, motor, trans, runs good always serviced. Hood, bumper, fenders, radiator trashed, rest of car mint.

So what I'm asking is you think I would make my money back??

Buy it back and fix it up with the money you get...another option.

Guys part out all the time here...see the 'parting out' subforum

Fixing it up is not the route I wanna go, already made profit on the vehicle so with the check, upgrading a few years sounds like a better option

I'd rather shell out for some sort of freight shipping if the price is good enough and if my 330i can accept the 5MT from the 328ci.
