Broken passenger mirror
I have heated mirrors, and the glass looked awful with the brown marks on them. I finally broke down and bought new glass, and wouldn't you know... I broke the passenger side internals of the mirror. The glass is ok, but the mechanical pieces inside won't move the glass. You can hear them moving when you try to move the switch around, but the glass can't be controlled. And even as little movement as closing the door will cause the mirror to move. So it's basically useless at this time. I've been watching ebay for used ones, and am having trouble locating a power, heated, memory mirror. Any idea if there's a fix for my damage? Also, will a non memory mirror work? I don't really care about the memory feature, but i'm concerned that the wiring harness would not match up. Thanks!
