A REV check will determine that. Need to pay for that though, so for a prospective buyer that would be the smart thing to do.

Also not quite sure why having a kid means he has to sell it. Perhaps he hasn't noticed the back seat and the child seat anchor. Suspect there is a lot of WAF in the decision.

All the BMW drive day cars I was in when it as e46 were SMG, 18s, cloth, hk, nav etc so perhaps it was an ex training car.

You think that is cheap. Damn look at this one on ebay. It is a 20012 modle though.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2001-BMW-...ht_2069wt_1271

Got to love the advertised priced as $32,999 then you see $34,999 on the car itself. Then it again, the location is Punchbowl..

I've actually found REVS checks to be suspiciously unreliable of late... They're important, but there are plenty of ways to crash and sell a car without it being on REVS.

Seats look like they have traveled more than 90k's

Not uncommon for a car to be advertised cheaper on the net than on his lot, seen it plenty of times

Yes but if you had any sense of professionalism, you would have the same price both on the car and in the ad..

Door inserts and gearstick look like woodgrain whereas dashboard has a matte silver trim, seats are very worn, LEDs obviously weren't factory on 2001 model. This thing looks like a Punchbowl special!

Lemon ... anyway... talked to Raj about import e46 m3... did a search and 99% of you guys are against buying one. There are few out there that attract my attention. Avoid or Get PPI for it?

Just want to clear the 18' wheel & cloth insert seat thing up. From MY04 you could still have the 18' wheels and cloth inserts seats as a "delete" options. A lot of motoring journos bagged the M3's ride on the std 19" wheels so BMW offered the 18" inch wheels as NCO.

You can still order cloth insert seats on the current M3 also.

I only said I was surprised to see an M3 with cloth seats and 18" wheels. As in it's not common. I never said it wasn't possible if that's what you are insinuating.

Hmm, it's not bad. Cheap price for its kms, but it's an import so they won't fetch as much as locally sold M3s. How do you know it's an import anyway? Honestly I don't like ads that only have 3 photos. If you're gonna sell a relatively expensive car, at least put up a few more photos. No interior shots. Not a fan of 20" wheels, but I guess it's a show/promo car that's why it has it. Have you considered a manual? My friend recently had to repair his SMG - wasn't cheap.

I called the owner he said it's an import as he is the second owner.

I've got 1 photo of the interior and it's pretty clean and yes it is a show car , all pics are available from forge wheels website.

I consider manual like Raj but there isn't any decent one
