It is a great DD. Its a bit slow from what i previously sold to get the M for (10 second daily driven Talon) so it was to be expected. Also i suffer from high altitude power robbing so my 333hp M feels about 260hp (not joking). But the handling and braking and just the stance and overall look of this car is amazing... Loving it!

I DD mine most of the summer. Drive my winter beater (Honda Civic) when the weather is bad or when I am parked in (4 cars in a 2 car wide garage/driveway) and don't feel like shuffling them before work.

M3 E46 DD is a MUST!
I drive my 2006, E46 M3 ZCP with some slight mods about 50 miles a day to/from work, and it makes my day....the more you drive the car, the more it becomes addictive!

I used to have a 96' camry DD and an 03' M3 garage queen. I ended up hating the camry more and more every day by comparison to the weekend drives in the M3. A year later I've sold both cars and gotten another E46 M3, an 04' and it's my DD. Once you drive M or any top of the class car, anything less just won't do. Go big OP ! BTW, are you near Goias, Brazil ? I'm going in 2 months and want to meet some bimmerheads.

Have you swapped in an smg transmission? Cause a 330i does not come with smg

Unless you bought it that way, as it was a factory option.

I've been daily driving my 02 ///M3 for years now. It does get expensive with winter tires and more miles. That's why we buy these cars though isn't it?
Maybe more money will help you keep it in great shape http://************/d5xhtxp! ;-) -gh Last edited by greenhobby; 09-03-2012 at 07:08 AM. Reason: added link |

M3 is an expensive and precious car.
keep it safely in your box during the week. use a 2nd economic & reliable car (eg : Honda Civic vtec 1.5) as daily. when you switch from your daily to M3, pleasure is strong, your eyes become wet as the 1st day. |

I DD mine but plan on getting a 2nd car for most of the commuting. M3 is awesome but bumper to bumper traffic is no fun...

Yeah, a lot of it has to do with what kind of traffic you encounter. If you can get off work and drive like you want to you'd be more likely to DD it. If you're stuck in 5mh traffic for 2 hours you may want something else.
