Will HK Speakers work with Non-HK Head Unit?

The rear deck speakers in my 2000 323i are shot. The head unit is non-HK but is the factory original. Will HK deck speakers work with my unit?

they are a different Ohm rating.

It will work fine- just double check the specs on the head unit you have, it should be able to drive the HK speakers, which I believe are 3Ohm. What is the impedance on the stock speakers you just pulled out? (naturally, this is assuming they are the same size, and will physically fit).

It could work, but depending on power consumption it could blow the non hk amplifier.

nah it won't blow the stock amp. they will work but just not the best choice. I only used them when I had an extra set of HK speakers.
