20 million doesn't seem like a sound investment to me for land alone, why such a big expenditure for something with no immediate returns?

The new city part they are developing will be a tourist attraction soon enough

They've got quest hotel and a few other things in their strip of shops..

but you're right.. if i had millions to spend id buy the building on the cnr of Collins and Elizabeth in the CBD.. which IS for sale for a lazy few mil!

The ANZ building yeah?

There's also that abandoned looking building on the corner of Elizabeth and La Trobe.. I heard the had some Health/safety issues in that building hence why it's been bought and sold so many times..
