too be on the safe side, you could spray (or brush, etc) a small ammount of oil on the screws before yo0u remove them. Should be fine either way.

Hey guys looking forward to this DIY and great job to OP. Just wondering if I would be able to fit these in my Power Memory seats and still allow the seat to go all the way down?

It's easy to be a wiseass when you've done your due diligence and are correct, but when you try this and don't know what you're talking about, you're just a jackass.
Medicine kit is not a USA part so doesn't appear on realoem for my car. Don't have a VIN for euro cars to plug in. Crestwood with the parts might have the bag with the number on it. Would make it convenient for all the rest who can't easily access it or have dealers who claim they can't find the part number. You almost don't deserve to own an e46 with the best color paint BMW ever sprayed on this model! |

Pfff. That's where I got the part numbers. Try less caffeine or anger management.
Here you go ya creep. ![]() I deserve an E46. What I don't deserve is your judgement.

Well then, I guess you're screwed-or maybe not.
Why not try a few different screws sizes from the hw store.

Part # 07149169302 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...52&fg=10&hl=81 This argument is idiotic. Just go to any hardware store and find screws that fit. I've installed 6 first aid kits in my various BMWs and have never spent more than 2 minutes thinking about self tapping screws.

The difference is that I read the thread and found out what to do.
You want everything done for you and it wasn't to your liking so you had a temper tantrum. It may not have been complete, and the fact that someone tried to help you means nothing-ingrate.

I called you one name, which was fact based, and now you can't stop calling me unfounded names.
