Do it! I'm a little wary about white though, it looks like it might be sticky and dirt would show up really easy. You could always try it and let us know

It's gotta be impossible to clean these cars with a towel.

These only look good in photos because you can't see the shit texture in person.

I never heard of this. I suppose it would protect the paint if your car sits outside, but I'd rather paint it I think. Interesting though.

Do you know how often you have to respray it? Im sure it doesn't last THAT long.

Pretty sure it does last a long ass time as long as something weird doesn't happen. Like a cat gets on it and try's sharpening its claws on your car haha

Not that hard I'd imagine.
I've seen people peel it off, with more ease than a sticker.

Also, I heard if you mix the plasti-dip with clear coat, it'll turn out glossy. Not sure though.


Main reason I'd even consider dipping my car is to keep the paint underneath it immaculate until it's time to sell it/get rid of it.

Regardless, I'm not dipping my car.

My friend wants to do it next week on his 350z, we'll see how that turns out. I'll be sure to post pics for you guys lol

But how long they had the dip on? I took it off my kidney grills and chrome window trim. Had to sand the dip off the window trim, yea that bad

It was something like this:


Rub it hard at first, then when you can, peel the rest off with ease.

Dunno if it sticks more the longer you have it though? That's weird....I imagine it also depends on humidity/weather temperatures.
