why does it not look like 405 Imolarot II do u think just cuz the image has been inhanced

possible but man does it look fresh! Can also be the lighting....on darker days my ZHP has the same look

With all the effects people put on photos now, it can be very difficult to determine the actual color of some cars from a picture. Especially if it is one of the colors that have many, many shades (like blue or silver/grey). Off the top of my head I can only think of one OEM BMW red paint color on the e46 M3, and that is the aforementioned Imolarot II.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I mean, the car doesn't look like that in real life. I hate when people put pictures of their cars on here with a ridiculous amount of filters and saturation. Artsy. Neato. But it's not what the car really looks like.

That is correct unless the person special orders his ///M in another shade of red such as japanrot, which I learned today. Then it's through BMW Individual.

Yeah, I don't know all of the Individual Option colors out there, I know there are some wacky ones... also some fantastic ones (like my LeMans Blue

Mine's Imola. It a good-looking color but it's never that shade--that's too dark and rich.

As mentioned, that image is enhanced. Pointless and misleading, I agree. Happens a lot with this color, unfortunately.
