That's why I want them to keep it on long, especially over a winter season. They will cry

you probably didn't use enough coats. You just have to use enough coats and it'll peel off really easy.

Is the person who is dipping the 350z using a spray gun or just cans?

After watching those dipyourcar videos, I'm pretty curious. Maybe I'll experiment and dip my wheels and put some metallic flakes on it as well.

I plastidipped my Cupholder, before just buying a new one,and as I recall, plasti dip doesn't wipe very easy. I can't imagine trying to wipe down the car with that texture.

Lol when people use it as an excuse to preserve their original paint.

When I pulled the dip off my buddies Gti wheels it seemed like it was much easier when it was heated up. Not a substantial amount, but the wheels in the sun were surprisingly easy (after a year or so) and the ones in the shade didn't peel, but rather chipped I guess? Tried using aircraft remover and my god what a mess..

so maybe the cold hardens the dip, or was there just not enough sprayed on that wheel?

Doing it. I'm thinking a blue color, black roof/mirrors/door handles. We'll see how all the body work goes for me. Almost done with the bondo...
