I'm due an upgrade through AT&T... should I order through them (AT&T) rather than going through Apple directly? And what are your guys anticipated release date that these will be in stores? A month? A week? A couple weeks?

I wonder if it will be like iPhone4 nonsense all over again.

what happened with the 4? i still have my 3gs and have saved my upgrade for the 5 because the features of the 4 were not worth it. i hope to just go into a store and buy the 5 right there. assume i'll have to wait a month or so to do that.

you dont buy a phone because of what features it has. you buy a phone because of what features it has that are specific to your interests. if it didnt have anything else he cared about, thats his own choice to make

Another dumb post, he lists technical upgrades but the least worthwhile ones... It's like you want to join the conversation, but bring "lifestyle" of "different" (OLDER, SLOWER, CRAPPIER) phones which has no play here.

my battery life was just as good as the 4s. speed, meh didn't really notice a difference there either. it was fast enough for me.

8mp kind of useless for regular pics. 3mp is plenty for 99% of applications. same with video and resolution. i'm not watching movies and tv shows on my phone. maybe you are. mostly youtube clips and video once in a while. watched a few ncaa basketball games and was fine for that.

again, spending $600 was not worth what the 4 offered me for what i use a phone for. if you want the best at any cost, then your perceived value of the phone is much higher than mine.

What crappy phone company charges $600 for a phone upgrade that came out way past the 3G release date.

You're also ruling out an AMAZING amount of benchmarks with a bunch of babble.
