Clunking Noise
Hi. I have a 2002 325ci. About 2 weeks ago I started hearing a clunking noise coming from my front driver side. When I start from rest I hear it sounds like something is going back into place. When I press my brakes I hear it. When I come to a complete stop I hear it. When I go over bumps I hear it. And when I turn my steering wheel it sounds like something's twisting to the point it's gona break. Any suggestions for what my problem is or what I should check for first ? All your help is greatly appreciated

Check your FCAB'S. YouTube "e46 Front control arm bushing symptoms" and follow the procedure to see if they've gone bad

This, sounds like they could be really really worn from what you are describing.
