+1, I think the paint is revivable. But I just noticed the hood is misaligned.

Why does California have all the good BMW's? I paid $500 less for a Step 2000 323i with 137k miles and the body isn't in as good of shape as this one. Interior is about equal. Even with the high mileage, I'd buy that car in a heartbeat.

Says it's has all of the service records etc. Just went out on limb that it was well maintained. If it was't records would be spotty and show up as POS with a PPI. Just sayin. Last edited by zander271; 09-13-2012 at 05:36 PM. |

I can't even manage to find ZHP's around here... much less a clean 330i for less than $15k that is in what I call good shape. I didn't mind buying my 323 that wasn't in perfect shape because I didn't pay much for it. I would like to swap it in a year or two for something with more power, but the 330i's are hard to come by around here.

So I make a comment about pathetic 318i's and get burntttttttt for it, but Mango can pick on a 323i and just gets told he has a small willy! Not fair!

- 200 dollar room at the The Fairmont San Francisco Hotel(I got %50 off the room and was upgraded to a bay view) -food for 2 days - 2 tanks of gas driving back to Seattle - 2 flight tickets(200 for both) -12k even for the car -810 for licensing I could have done without the hotel and 2 days in San Fran, but with the wife being new from the UK she wanted to make a mini vacation weekend out of it. So with all of that my ZHP + trip was 13.5k ![]() If you want a car add in some money and travel for it. |

Mine is mystic blue and i love it! If you look around most m3 are white, black, silver gray, and titanium. It's very common color for m3 but mytic blue not alot.

That's because you have no idea what you're talking about
![]() I've been driving BMW's for years, this is my fourth and mommy and daddy didn't buy me any of them ![]() As for the cheap BMW's part, I think they can be found in most places, it's just a matter of patience.. or, if you find one you like enough, fly out and drive it back ![]() There's a '99 323i for $2000 OBO near me that looks in really good shape, sport pack and manual too... missing the front bumper, headlights and the hood is bent, but I'd be tempted to take it if I could get it for cheap enough.

I say buy it. As for the bumper trim wearing out a bit, Go to wal-Mart's auto section, and get Turtle wax Trim restore, I used it on my 325, and the trim looks perfect, and I barely used like 1/16 of the bottle.

So the previous owner drove from Riverside to Fullerton daily hence the miles. (~80 mile commute)
Just got back from helping my friend change out the window regulator. The bad: -fog light busted and pitted/ trim missing -zkw xenon bowls are burned -driver's side xenon leveling is stuck -front bumper need respray -hood and front fender misaligned -trunk handle button doesn't work -weird screw in back license plate -sun roof clips broken -cooling system is still completely original...including the water pump! -original clutch -rear quarter panel weirdly filled and repaired the interior is IMMACULATE. aside from the lightly work center console and dead pixel lines on the nav screen it is beautiful inside. mechanically wise, my friend had a BMW mechanic check it out and everything seemed good. No major problems. The paint def. need a nice polish correction. got it for around $6k
