Thumbs Up Jake's HPF Built Motor w/6766 Upgrade

So Jake came in for same maintenance and 6766 upgrade, I wanted to show before and after results and we will have more pictures from Kris here in the next few days.

Pump and Meth for the Win! We added about 2lbs of boost as well. For some reason the before run from last year didn't have boost referenced on it.

Sweet numbers!

My buddy just bought a 6466 and he wants to know why you went with a 6766.

Apparently the 6466 makes the same power with the spool curve of a 6266. Aside from the 6766 having a better top end.

The problem is everyone says it 'makes the same power, with the same this/that'... as what?.. a turbo on a different car, different motor, different manifold, different fuel? The 7275 supposedly spooled faster and made more power than the 7168.. until I swapped it in and found out it actually made the same power, and spooled slower. HPF has actually used a 6466 on a built low compression motor it wasn't as impressive as one would have thought (it was impressive comparatively but did not net the same results as it did on Larry's Supra if that's where you're getting your comparisons).. I still think the 6766 is a better choice for the S54.

my car didn't make very impressive numbers with the 6776, the 6466 numbers did not surprise me. im sure someone else could net better results w/6466....especially if they didn't care that the curve falls on its face up top in order to make a higher peak number earlier on.

Thought about 6466. Main reason for 6766 was about 70WHP horsepower advantage for 6766 over 6466.
