That's nuts! I'm getting sick to death of these red-light safety cameras up here in Syd.

Mate come to Melbourne and you'll learn how to drive..
We've got safety cameras at most major intersections .. And we don't have signs telling us we are approaching one..

We're spoiled here in QLD. The camera's have to be in an obvious place and all fixed camera's have huge signs pointing them out. Anyone who gets done by a fixed camera up here is a moron.

That said, I just got done from half a kay away by a cop over a hill. Got done again by a black van behind a tree at midnight. Then I got done again doing FIVE over by a trayback ute undercover camera!?

So despite all the measures put in place to make sure they're obvious... there's still idiots that get done...

Op just write them a letter apologising for speeding and that the reason for your speed is that you must glanced up at the road for a couple of seconds instead of concentration on your speedo, and that in future you will endeavour to only look at your speedo... Also dont forget to thank them for installing that speed camera as it obviously has saved your life and the lives of many other motorists

That camera that is placed BEHIND the overhead road signs on the M1 near Beenleigh are not placed in an obvious place by any means. Must have learnt from the Victorians.

At least in NSW the worst we have is those red light and speed cameras. The amount of people that get caught by those..

Coming onto the M3 (Eastern) FWY (Outbound) earlier today. Minimal Traffic ~2.00pm.
In the RHL and see ahea that traffic in building up in this lane (WTF).
Im on a slight incline and see the culprit. Its a VicPol marked Divisional Van!!!
Anyway, I want to travel at at least 100km/h (but under 110), So decide to go to the 2nd (of 4) lane. unertake a few slow moving cars (who obviously are afraid of going any faster than this "cop").
I get into the 3rd land , next to the police officer and speed match him, I estimated his speed to be ~80km/h. As im next to this cop i decide to have a look. His on his own and his a Cnst. His also ON THE PHONE. (Thats why his going so slow because his not concerntrating on driving). I jump infront of him (cut him off a little just to let him know im there) and do the Fernando Alonso hand shake.
He then moves over to left to the 3rd lane.

In VIC its 2 demerit points for travelling in the RHL unlawfully.
And 3 points for using a mobile.

Many drivers also do not understand that when the transit lane is in operation (7am -930am weekdays) the next lane to the left becomes the OVERTAKING lane. Like the normal RHL is.
SO at 710 am, when its not very congested .. MOVE THE F**K OVER, and let me past !!!!
After all that, I just want to know what the "Fernando Alonso hand shake" is...
