Ebrake Broken after changing rear rotors. Help!!
I was doing my friends brakes on his e90. He had the ebrake pulled and we didnt realize it. Thinking the the rotor was seized to the hub, we used 2 screws and bolts and tightened them through the caliper bracket until the rotor popped off. Well that popped off one of the set spring loaded screws through the ebrake bracket. the hole for the set screw is now ripped open on the ebrake bracket.
Has this happened to anyone before? And if so how did you fix it? I have ordered a new ebrake bracket but wondering what kind of work will be involved in getting that put on. Any help would be great! Thanks, Colin
