Rattle when engaging the clutch. Help

Hey everyone, how's it going? I just recently purchased my dream car several weeks ago, (02' JB M3 Vert) and I've noticed that when I'm barely moving in 1st gear and I go to engage the clutch (6MT), there is a fairly loud rattling noise that seems to be coming from somewhere in the front drivers side of the car. It seems to be much more frequent when I'm on a slight incline. Without hearing the noise, a friend of mine said he thinks it is the throw out bearing, however I wanted to get some opinions from people that actually own and drive these cars on a regular basis. I took a video from my phone while replicating the sound in my car and as soon as I can figure out how to upload the video on here I will do so. Thanks for the help and I'm glad to finally be a part of the BMW community.
