Who told you the 18s weigh 19 lbs? If they weigh that, then I do too.

yea, the dealer confirmed with them that the 18x9.5's weigh 19lbs. i have since changed my plans on rim size and i'm going with a 18x8.5, which should weigh slightly less.
so nobody is running these?

I don't believe those weights at all. 19 lbs for 18x9.5? On these TSW low cost rims? Nope.

I'm not saying they don't, but like some others in this thread, I'm skeptical that they weigh 19lbs.

I am saying they don't weight 19. More like 25, probably more.

reviving an old thread because I was looking at these too. OP did you ever buy them? If so did you weigh them? TSW makes Bayern wheels too if I am correct so I find it hard to believe they would lie about the weight of their wheels? That seems like a dumb and obvious thing to do... It does say starting at, so that could be a dirty trick. Anyway, is anyone running these? and what do they really weigh?

The TSW Nurburgrings are really great wheels because it's an affordable spun forged wheel. This makes them super lightweight and strong. I've setup plenty of E46 forum members on this wheel and I always get positive feedback from the wheels. Which setup are you planning to go with?

Oh I wasnt aware that you carried them, I hadnt seen them on your site. Is there a good place to look for reviews? Its not that I dont trust you I just like hearing from people who run them every day on their vehicle. I am looking at 18x9.5 rear and 18x8.5 front, but a lot of that will depend on the stock offset on the wheels. I have 135i calipers and rotors up front and want to make sure the spokes will clear the face of the caliper. Also just as an FYI I am currently deployed and so wouldnt be purchasing the wheels until spring.

I have them on my car. They are that light and strong. Not too proud of it, but I've hit a few potholes and bumps pretty hard and all my rims are still round. I work at a tire shop so when they came in, I signed for them and it said 19 lbs each. Although i have the 18x8 square.

Thanks, I found a friend who's dad races with tsw on his Z and had him weigh them and the weights were accurate, I think I'll pick up a set after this deployment
