Anyone have the part number for the rail covers if you pull the rack rails off?

Make sure it's wide enough. I also wedged some foam in under the holes so the tape wouldn't sag and just because I didn't want holes under the tape... I'm weird. Lay the tape over the hole and press into where the edges on the side of the rail are. You'll see what I'm on about. Cut with a razor (CAREFULLY!) to make it flush/seamless with the rest of the rail. Job done!

I like that... tape.. what tape did you use? Striping tape or just electrical tape?

I have another idea involving JB weld, aluminum, and bondo... Just thought about it...

Thats very intresting the increase in MPG I have often thought it would help MPG. Commuting 22 miles one way that ads up!

Originally I wanted to find some of of vinyl that would be pliable enough to fit the shape but there wasn't any out there I could find. I just wound up with some extra wide thick-ish electrical tape that wasn't completely glossy. It actually blends in pretty well. If I weren't at school I'd take a closeup, but I won't be home for at least another week.

Second option ensures that the roof rails never make it back on you car!
