Edit: That failed miserably. Both other people who were going to go with bailed at the last minute and I was counting on being able to switch drivers halfway through for sleep purposes.

I'm heading to the NASA Midwest event at road America on October 6th and 7th. There is a few guys from Illinois joining in and we plan to meet sometime early Saturday morning and head up there for driving Saturday and Sunday. If you are
not familiar with NASA check out their site. If you have never driven on the track you will have an instructor with you until you reach a level where you can drive by yourself.

So all of my wisconsin fanatics, any of you around the milwaukee area. I'm having a rough idle problem from 800rpm to 1800rpm my car will shake and it sounds like its missing. I dont have the money atm to take it in to have it looked at, and usually I do all the work on my car anyways but would any of you happen to have a peak reader? I have a 2000 328ci (has the under the wheel OBDII port)? - Im going to try and spray MAF cleaner on my MAF today and see if that helps, I changed my plugs about two months ago (car ran fine until just now where I was in traffic and it start to idle very rough and my car was shaking. It has gotten alot worse since then and it sounds like its missing in the exhaust. Any suggestions or anyone able to check the bmw codes for me?

I am in Pewaukee and I have a bavuto.com BMW fault code reader. It will give you any fault codes that are appearing. If you want to come out my way I will be available Sunday. I will be doing some maintenance items on my M Sunday.

Next weekend? My friend just did a full suspension refresh in his Z4, including Koni Yellows. Now I just need to get him to ditch the runflats and do a cooling overhaul.

After my motorcycle accident Friday I'm in kinda rough shape and now unsure if I'll be up for such a ride so soon

Anyone know of cheap (but still quality) places to get a new bumper cover painted? The last one for my E46 cost me like $450 all said and done at Zimbrick in Madison and I'd rather not pay that again.

If you don't mind the drive out to Palatine, IL, I've heard A&L auto body does great work. They painted Turner Motorsports race car.
I asked about getting hood painted for my E46, they told me about ~$300 which is lower than other estimates I got around Milwaukee.

Check them out!

Plus the owner of the shop is a BMW enthusiast.
