I took mine apart completely and cleaned them. it's not enough to just wipe them as you see it. (you'll see what i mean when you look closely)

Besides, even if they did start yellowing, I'd take the $180 I saved over OEM and buy some polish

Ordered some smoke film from ebay, going to attempt to overlay the clear on my R/C/R tails, do the front corners and try the side markers, I'm thinking they probably have too many angles though, maybe a heat gun can work some magic though, basically shrink wrap them...
Thinking its time to loose the roof rack for awhile...

After replacing my Control arms/bushing yesterday, I took Sally-Sue in for an alignment and lastly I restored the Shark Injector to my newly flashed M52TUB28 head.

^ +1. Today I replaced my dip-stick o-rings. old ones weren't that bad to be honest but they are squared off a little (as opposed to round like the new ones) only like 50 cents for both. no biggy!
oil filter o-rings come next week... some of my stockpile..

My car was making a noise from the right rear wheel. After some testing I notices the ebrake didn't work for that wheel. Took off the caliper and rotor then saw this. A fat chunk of the brake shoe ripped off and was spinning around in there.

I bought the complete kit from ECS Tuning... Drilled and slotted rotors... Hawk ceramic pads... Stainless brake lines... ATE Super Blue.. Painted the calipers black. I got the fronts done today. It took a while to get the rotor screws out... Then the rotors off. Best way to get the screws out that I found is to bang on them with a hammer and a tool to hit the top of the screw head without mangling the screw itself. Then I had to soak the rotor with WD-40 and let it sit... Then banged them with a 10 pound rubber mallet... They finally came off.
We'll see if I do the rears tomorrow. Having Jack Daniel's right now...
