Tough Mudder - Who's Doing it?

Did the tri-state "jersey" one in November 2010. It was cold!!! Beyond that it was a blast. I'm very active so it wasn't difficult for me, but it must be said that it is very tiring. There were a lot of people that did not finish. I'm probably going to do the same one this October.

I'm tempted to try this.

Considering doing this in November here in FL.

I ran it in Whistler, B.C., Canada just under a month ago. Was harder than I thought, jumping in the glacier fed lake was numbing. Glad I did it though.

Do it. The tough mudder is not for the weak like "warrior dash" I did a 10k Merrel Down and Dirty, it was tough, but most people finished.

Nice, finished in 4hrs 14mins as a 8 person team (half guys, half girls). We all made it up the ramp on one try which I was pretty proud of.

Did the Wisconsin one in 1hr 59min and accidently ran an extra mile due to sh!tty course markers. I've done it with large groups and just got slowed down. This one me and my brother just took off and never looked back or helped anyone else. Tried to qualify for the worlds toughest but don't think I was fast enough. Top time I heard was 1hr 20min. Might do one or two next year early on and save myself for the death race.

What was the terrain like in Wisc.?

I'm curious to compare it to the IN event.

I did the Indy one the last two years, this one was the easiest one out of the five I've done. Alot of flat out running with little elavation change. I didn't really train for this one so I'm sure I could of gotten closer to 1hr 30min if I was more prepaired. The Indy one last Nov was insanley cold.

Gotcha. I figured it would have to be relatively flat with times like that. Those are impressive.

I'm signed up for the Michigan event next June. I hope the course has massive elevation changes like the IN event did. I guess I'm a sadist, I feel like I'm getting ripped off unless it's over-the-top hard.

Thanks. The last Indy one I did was about 3 hrs due to a stress fracture in my shin. I was shooting for 2hrs 30min this time so I'm happy. I'm the same way..... I want to feel like I went to hell and back after I do something. Hence signing up for the death race.
