Is this bar a necessary part of the new bumper install? I just bought my M3 bumper (for non-M) and it comes with it, but i also notice the ebay bumpers don't seem to come with it, which makes me think they are optional... I'm sure their benefit will be noticed upon an impact, but i'm wondering if the part is a necessity for proper install and fitment.?.?
