Toyota GT 86 / Subaru BRZ
When I first saw the toyota 86 I was like "dayam - that's a HOT car"
Got to sit inside one the other day and find out more info on it at a car show When I sat inside - the interior and cluster felt cheap - bloody hell the car didn't have electric seats I was thinking my e46 is way better than than this for interior feel Then I heard its got like a boxy engine which needs to be really thrashed before u get any power out of it And to top it off - the car does 0 to 60 in 7.86 seconds or something ??? That's not sport performance !! And this is a 2012 model? But either way I love the look of the car and it's very reasonable brand new price But prefer my decade old e46's over this one .. Thoughts/comments ??

such a silly car... i mean atleast slap a turbo or supercharger in it. 147kw is a joke! I'd much rather a 2012 WRX.

Yeah but look how weak the US dollar is now. Before you could get an E46 3 series for under $30k. The new F30 3 Series starts at $36k

Hey guys, I sat in an entry-level Scion/Subaru/Toyota and was so disappointed because it didn't have all the luxury amenities that my BMW has. Never buying another car again.

oh, and BTW, your 325 "M sport" isn't going to be too far ahead of that car in the 0-60 or 1/4 mile categories.

lies. That wing is not nearly big enough to come standard on an STI car.

It's a sport compact car competing with civics and miatas.
In that light it's pretty fvcking awesome. |

Sure, it's the ESSENCE of a sports car. With that said, it's overpriced. I would expect to pay LESS for the ESSENCE. For $26,000+, I would expect something beyond the bare minimum.

Tell me another car you can buy new that is similar. I can't think of any, except perhaps a Miata.

Ford Mustang V6: $22,200 Honda Civic Si: $22,355 Mazda MX-5: $23,470 Volkwagen Golf GTI: $23,995 Scion FR-S: $24,995 Subaru BRZ: $25,495 Let's take the Mustang V6 and compare it against the BRZ. Can you imagine what you could drop on that Mustang with $3,300? Upgrade the suspension and you'll have a car that's going to piss off the BRZ through the turns (may not actually hang with it) and absolutely roast it in the straights.

They look like great cars. They come well-equipped, too. BRZ at the base price comes with navigation and all.
