There are none within 40 minutes of me, there all just cigar/cig shops. Actually, there might be one, but I don't believe alcohol is allowed.

Actually I just looked it up and all say you can smoke in them, but the ones that I know of aren't that big, or don't have the atmosphere where I could sit back and relax except for one. I'm less than 2 hours north of the city.

I'll actually be down near the Trump towers this Thursday, any recommendations?

don't want to sound like a dick but the spots i visit are more of a "locals people know each other" type places and don't like publicity. a good cigar shop is a local spot with people you don't necessarily know but when they say "what's good" or "how you doin'"you feel like you knew them all your life and the conversation sparks , usually about nothing. this might be a good video:

and its in nyc too....check it out....

No worries. I didn't get a chance, but I go down to NYC about once a month, so I'll have to check it out next time. Thanks for the recommendation.

nah i haven't been to that one , i just thought it was a cool video. there are a couple i went to and i was intimidated the first time as well. all these guys have their little groups and outsiders don't fit in at first. if they'll see you there a few times the'll start calling you by name or by nickname. it's a business and you're the customer so explain your situation and i'm sure they will welcome you.

If you come across another starter pack deal like before, please post it. I thought that was a regular thing they had and had I known it was temporary I would have jumped on it. I need to get a humidor.
