The new C7 should be cool. Looks like they are finally doing away with the wrap around glass on the rear, and going for lighter weight since they can't really up power much with emissions.

Frank and I finally got to finish the front end:

I just need the roof, wheels, tails, and a couple other odds and ends, and I'm done with this car.

Oh they can up the power, they just won't up it for the regular versions. I'm intrigued on what they do for the C7

Frank also finally has working headlights. Just needs a detail and that car should be all set as well.

Inorite? I was telling him that if you squint really, really, really hard from 50 feet away, you can imagine it having one. But I'm not about to FI this engine, fun as that sounds.

You could be like that E90 guy and run a fake intercooler for your 400whp K&N supercharger.

Oh they make a 400hp supercharger? I thought they only made 6/700 HP superchargers because it's raw bro.

Looks good, just like a Mercedes-Benz C63 pace car.

They'll up everything like 20-30hp, which is nothing for a corvette. Probably all engines will have direct injection, variable valve timing, cylinder deactivation, and maybe an off-at-stop switch. Unless corvette does all of that, and make the car lighter, I doubt they are going to meet emissions, and will require smaller displacement engine, which they may do anyway for the base model.

So I woke up to a really sad text message. Apparently last night, somebody was throwing construction materials off of one of the overpasses on the way out from Oakland to Brentwood at cars. My welding teacher was driving at about 80 in his pretty new Toyota 4 runner, and a 10lb roll of steel wire for tying rebar together went straight through his windshield and broke his arm. Was in so much shock and pain from everything, that he drove to the emergency room thinking he has been shot. Got to the ER, and all they could do was take an X-ray and send him home with a bunch of pain killers, even though his arm was obviously not straight. Got the text from him this morning and he's on his way back to the hospital right now.

How was your house guest, Kalim? I want to know because I'm very, very jealous.
