Are corduroy pants a no-no for casual wear? I see them popping up in stores and they are comfortable, so I'm curious what you all think. No, these would not be skin tight hipster pants. My boys need room to breathe and I need big pockets.

Nothin wrong with corduroy. It's pretty popular leading into fall. I only like corduroy pants if they're cut like jeans (don't like them for dress pants) and the wale is on the small side (not the wide wale ones that look like licorice lined up).

I won't personally be buying any, but I'd wear them if they were given to me.

That happened really quick, no? Did you get the gig and drive up the same day?

If you need some casual clothes, stop by Taylor Stitch. They make great stuff.

I've thought about getting some cords to wear with my tweed jackets. I've also considered getting some moleskin pants for the same reason.

Everything happened in less than 24 hours
I am so tired
Got in really late last night and the drive really hurt my back
Got rear ended two weeks ago and I thought I was almost all better... but that long drive killed me

Anyway
I haven't posted one of these in a long time

tomorrow i am going to an archery tournament on the hudson river... the invitation calls for "garden-formal attire"... this is like my dream event. cordovan boots and tweeds, and actually 'sporting' going on.

Yep. It's actually a suit (Fitz cut). It weighs practically nothing and I can wear it all through the summer with no problems.

Am I being high maintenance to think a large company like BB should be shipping orders placed on Tuesday mornings by Friday afternoons?

I've never heard it described that way, but given my love of cordovan and tweed, I think I should look into archery.
