Have you tried aligning your steering angle sensor?

And a correct tune even with advancing cam timing you can change the values the cam position sensors look at for a normal value

I am going to do this for my airbag light tomorrow. I have a Sparco wheel with quick release, and I am getting sick of looking at that ugly red dude with a balloon in his face chillin in my cluster

Off topic but how is a quick release wheel worth none of the airbags working?

Since the SES light is always on how do you guys know if there is something else wrong with the car? Are you guys periodically checking using some sort of diagnostic tool??? Sorry if this question has been asked before... Im kinda interested in the stage 2 kit but wanted to see what some of you guys are doing..

Either way, you'll have to replace whatever goes bad. The worry is that you might get stuck somewhere when you wouldn't have otherwise. So far our customers haven't reported problems to us that an early SES light would have changed anything.

The good news is, you can still check the codes unrelated to the engine operation.

Honestly, I'm surprised that with all of the crazy tuning and modifications done to M3's, a simple SES light can't be turned off. My friends WRX has no SES light despite having a 3.5'' turbo back. OpenSource FTW.

A deleted post before mine, a 1-day-old account trying to sell LED-conversion kits for car interior.

My E39 has a full stand alone, DME is removed completely. The SES is off because it has no DME to tell it to turn on. The HFP kits still retain the stock DME for VANOS on the S54. The light turns on because of all the other missing messages that the DME isn't seeing because AEM EMS is handling that part(which Chris already went over)

i love your innovation of the rear view mirror gauges but what would be ideal is a HUD. the mickey mouse ears block the instrument cluster and the mirror gauges are all the way in your upper right peripheral... neither is ideal.

That sore thumb is in the perfect position. Doesn't block a thing, I do like the mirror idea though but it's not for me
