paggie34 Registered User Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: trinidad Posts: 11 My Ride: '00 e46 316i View My Garage	Need Some Engine Info hey guys, i'm getting and e39 m54b30 at a really great price and well i have and e46 with a 1.9 4cyl. What i would like to know is if the m54b30 from the e39 will work in the e46. I know its the same straight six that's in the 330 but would the mounts and stuff line up or would i have to remake to mounts and once I the harness and the ecu etc. would this be a straight foreword swap? I'm from trinidad btw and its easier and cheaper to do and engine swap than sell your car and upgrade otherwise that's the route i would've taken
