high rev on start

I noticed this past week, that when I start the car, it jumps up revs to 2K and immediately drops down to normal. It is getting colder here, but I don't remember it doing this ever.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance..

Mine has done that a couple times.I think its normal or at least don't worry too much about it if it goes back to normal right after.

Thanks Cardboat. With 105K on it, one really notices new sounds and things that are different! Must be the colder weather...
