I literally don't know anyone who doesn't standard deadlifts double overhand. I've done over/under since the beginning. Only times I use double over is stiff legs and rack deads.
For a reasonably athletic person, I don't think bicep tears are going to be an issue unless you intend on getting into the 500+ club.

I am still wrecked from those dead lifts 2 days ago. I f@#king love it! I was able to rep my squats during this morning's workout per the plan (..and I used moderate weight today: 275 lbs.), but damn does my body feel like somebody ran me over with a steamroller.

The way I like it. I took a chance.....got 300 lbs. for 3 reps. Looks like I may be able to finally clear 315 lbs. once.
I did a couple sets at 135 lbs. to warm up, two sets of 10 @ 225 lbs., a set of 4 @ 280, four sets of 5 @ 290 and a set of 3 @ 300. Definitely feeling stronger! Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Bimmer App

i think thats my PR with a Barbell. ive done a little more with the deadlift/diamond bar. wasnt planning on doing deads tonight or i wouldve wore my NB
