Langka Kit Help
I bought both the Langka and Dr. Colorchip kits and tried them out yesterday.
I'm having a problem with Langka on the larger chips. First attempt the paint dried 2 1/2 hours...and all that was left was a chip colored matte black instead of it's original steel color. After reading the website I tried it again and let it dry over night. This morning the same thing happened. The inside of the chips are black but there isn't any shine in them and they are not flush with the surface. What am I doing wrong? Dr. color chipped worked ok on road rash but probably needs to be repeated as the surface is fairly uneven. |

Is your paint color black?
For the biggest chips you will probably need to layer the touchup. |

Yes, sorry, jet black.
I'm reading the blobs may need to dry 24+ hours. |

The bigger the chip, the longer the paint needs to dry.

I haven't had the time to get the langka kit to work. All the chips have been repaired with dr. CC. Dr. CC is so much easier to use. The Langka may provide a better repair as dr. CC is more like coloring in the chips instead of filling them. But from 5' away the repair is good.
