What are the full specs of your tire/wheel/brakes?
Car looks mint? Why sell?

Thanks much for the comments. I am pretty happy with how it is turning out. The wheels are the standard Apex 18x9.5" 35mm fronts with 5mm spacers and 18X10" 25mm rears. Hate to be unoriginal in the wheel department, but really want a light, strong stockish looking 18" wheel and they fit the bill perfectly. Tires in the rear are Nt-05s 285/35-18. The rear is going to have to come up a hair as the tires rub under acceleration. Fenders have already been rolled and cut, no more material to remove. Also, btw it made huge power
I was considering selling due to a rather lengthy argument with my wife. Ummmm, she had some valid points.... ![]() ![]() , but I think I have her calmed down. |

What brakes are you running and what are your camber settings? Are you lowered at all with your coils? Also what power did it make with the 1100's? Could you post the graph please or PM me.

But really I need help trying to decide what to do with the rear. I could switch to r888s 285/30-18 and not have to raise the car, or keep my current setup and raise it 3/4". Thoughts? Also should mention that the suspension is completely dialed in, corner balanced etc. Last edited by M5chas; 10-01-2012 at 06:43 AM. |

I was hoping you were running the 265/35/18 in the front lol...I want that setup lol. Have you considered a mini-widened rear fender setup? Like flared out just half an inch? Then you can probably ride low with 295/305 setups at will...I'm going to be looking into doing this soon.

I haven't had issues with 265/35/18 in front other than entering steep driveways or abrupt driveways. 275 should be doable too

So we are trying tires today. The suspension is currently at its highest setting. I can switch to different springs and gain some height at the back, but we all think the 285/30-18s should fit. Unfortunately then I am giving up sidewall, and as we all know traction is hard enough to gain with these cars and I am heading in the wrong direction. Will probably look more at Kenton's idea of mini flaring the rear fenders and going with a bigger tire once I get the car back.

It might just be the picture but it doesn't look like your running that much camber in the rear if any. Something to check on.

You are correct, hardly any camber in the rear, but I honestly wanted to have as much tire down on the road before adjusting camber to make them fit. We ended up going with a set of 275/35-18s for now.

So on a side note I bought my modded e55 back and sent it to my buddy Mark Chapparone at Chapparone Auto Body for an e63 front conversion along with a few other goodies. It turned out looking pretty mean, although my wife asked, "why did you have to junk it up"...she is a big fan of the black grille!
