Apex braided brake lines
Recently I bought a set of Apex braided brake lines for my M3. Very good price and excellent appearance. After the installation I read two reviews of these lines came out of the fitting. I said well s&*^ happens. Then two weeks ago arriving to the race track I saw two Porsche crashed. When I asked what happened both has the same situation no brakes. Both cars have Apex brake lines and both had the fitting problems. So stay away from Apex brake lines.

That's hilarious though, guys with Porsches using 40$ eBay brake hoses. Learn the lesson the hard way, eBay=tow truck

It has has stainless on the outside so it must be good, and it's cheaper than the others so it's totally a good deal! Who cares what company makes them.

It's not like StopTech lines are expensive, all of 140$ for the complete kit (6 lines).
It's penny pinching like this that gets someone killed. The people selling garbage like this should be fined/barred from selling such junk products. Last edited by drift.mechanic; 10-01-2012 at 08:22 AM. |
