Yup. I have those bulbs due to AC_2007's professional top tip. (you too can have your own "Professional Top Tip" if you actually come up with something cool and unique)

So far AC_2007 has two. Lip spoiler and Osram Rallye 65w bulbs.

I'd agree this is the only low cost option to increase light output.

Other than that you will need $500 (give or take) and some time on ebay for a used OEM set. You don't need to spend money on refurbishing them unless the donor car was in an accident.
Generally speaking aftermarket replicas have noticeably worse output, to the point of you being better off with your halogens.

Tinted "HID lookalike" halogen bulbs have less light output and are generally terrible.

Get sylvania silverstars ultra from autozone. They are cheap and last a good length of time than the ebay craplights.
I'm not saying to stop looking at ebay(I got my interior LED conversion done under $20 from ebay), but somethings are just not worth it.

The Xenon conversion was for a friends car, both are his [Lucky bastard. He owns like 3-4 E46, two E39's, and a few more that I HAVENT even seen yet.

That makes no sense at all. Spend "Thousands" on the same thing that I ALREADY HAVE, and Mine is in SHOWROOM CONDITION, to get the same fking thing? and then put in the same bulbs? sorry Mango, I normally love your posts, and love your taste, but this has me off.

Contrary to what everyone has told me, I got them. 4.75 later, I have prettier lighting. They're rather bright too! Love em, Pics later.
