That's weird because I had my bluetooth on for most of that, connected to LTE for a couple hours, play games, multiple facetime calls, multiple phone calls, and text all day every day.

My Ride: some hooptie

I mean all signs are pointing to my battery being defective or something. I do have wifi and bluetooth on. Screen is pretty dim (1/4 or les), no fetching on emails (it is pushing though), and like I said the usage was super light (few texts and calls).

Im calling apple tomorrow to order a replacement on this brand new phone. One week ownership and the camera doesn't work properly. Flash goes off, but picture is captured after the flash, giving either a dark image or an extremely bright fuzzy image. I must have a lemon me thinks.

I would take it back. Unless you're on lte and have horrible reception, there's no reason for that

I think I may found the culprit. Any of you guys use the microcell? If you are connected to it, does it drain your battery? My phone is connected to it at the office non-stop, maybe that is draining it?

I have a microcell at work because there is bad cell reception in the area. It does indeed drain my battery. Bad cell reception in general also drains the battery faster than the 4 and 4s. I areas where I generally had good reception with my previous iPhone, my 5 has lasted just as well or better.

If you look at the history of Apple's marketing, they've always targeted a certain group in a round about way. Now we know that a lot of 30 plus tech heads will buy the phone. So who will your target? Parents who like taking photos of kids. They could have easily showed a video of people on vacation. Before that you saw a lot of Siri commercials with business type people (actors, directors, artist). The general audience don't realize that those in the Arts are business type people.. so why not target them. Shoot, most already own their Macs. So now the iPhone. Apple is famous for that. Oh and buying a lot of air time. My grandma (RIP) called every phone an iPhone. Commercials. @ pimpn04coupe I just replaced my iPad 3 with a new one. And when I added iOS6 the other night I noticed a low Battery warning on my Diagnostic screen. Check and see what you have... Go to General - About - Scroll down to Diagnostics & Usage - click on Diagnostic & Usage Data... If you see a LowBattery then you need to reset the firmware. Before you do it, you can get the Apple Store to check your iPhone. |

I don't know how this compares.
I talked OT iPhone for probably 2+ hours today for work stuff Plus a lot of random usage. I feel like battery life has improved since I reset my settings.

autobrightness still doesn't do ****. I've changed it in different light setting hoping it would "adapt"
Does absolutely nothing. Seriously annoying because I use my phone in bed a lot and it blinds me.

Where is your brightness set at? Mine was at about 40% and blinding. I had to manually turn it down.

Played around a bit with my co-workers phone last night. Thing is weightless compared to a 4s and the 3d maps are freaking awesome.
