I might be biased but there's a reason I have a E36 and that reason is not because it is only good as a stripped out track car.

THAT SAID, I will eventually turn my E36 into a track only car...not because it can't do anything else, but because I don't have a need for it being street car, so I'd rather strip it and do what I enjoy doing the most with it
There aren't any non m e36's with lsd's either.....

That is interesting, and nice use of the word "binnacle."

-I love the no side mirror/video side view mirror setup. Good for reducing drag, and also probably pretty fun to use since you no longer need to rotate your head, just look down slightly.

-The rimless rear view mirror is pretty

-The hand rest on the center console is a great idea. The nearly flat glossy screen looks like it would be near impossible to read though.

-The track wheel controls on the center console and steering wheel are cool.

-I think it would have been cooler if they continued the LCD instrument display to fill the entire cluster cutout instead of having a round gauge at either side.

-The scab brown and semen white leather looks horrible.

-I wonder how well or how bad those nearly invisible mesh air ducts work.

I could see the resemblance if I was 50 years older and dyed my hair reddish brown.

Define aging badly in terms of cars?

That's around the age I decided I might go for a different career.

Maybe you should come join me too.

4 hours if you have all the right tools and know what you are doing.

Basically, you're going to lose an entire day at the least, and you will be very frustrated by the end of it.

With the E36, a stock limited slip diff was optional on the non-Ms.
