LOC and HK amp question

Hey everyone,
So I am getting my Enco b146/B046 sometime this week and I want to have everything I need to do a 1st time go for this install so I dont have to go back and redo stuff or any of that. I have read a few posts about how fellow users here are using a LOC inline somewhere on the wiring harness to de amplify the sound coming from the B146/B046, but I cant figure out what wires to splice, and What I should do from there. Do I need RCA cables to run from the LOC back to the ENCO? If so being that I have a coupe how long would you all suggest I get so I can hide the wiring and all that. If i've understood the forums right I need to tap the amp in the trunk on the drivers side? Just wanting to make sure my head is on right before I do all of this. Oh also would a 4 ch LOC be the right choice to make for that? Thanks in advance guys.
