Truth, but swapping in black instead of chrome makes them look a tad better.

I don't have a preference over the grilles on pre-face or facelift. The only difference I can tell on the facelift models are they are larger. I do prefer the bumpers on the pre facelift though. At least on the non-sport models.

Did they give me the car or didn't I buy it?! And as for cooling systems I'm good everything new except water pump which is good... Suspension..... Upgrades coming within the next week or two

I worry about the changed laminar flow of air across matte grills. I think my chrome fronted ones make my car faster and aid in cooling.

WDE46 and JTripper...just fyi, of course everyone that touches their car isn't stupid...but when one touches, say, a private part of another person, before even introducing yourself to him or her, you often get into trouble.

Same with our car. Get it a real examination first, before sending it off to the plastic surgeon.

That's always been the major objection...not whether something looks stupid or not...it's when it's aesthetics before functionality that many of us shake our heads.

Do whatever color grill you want...that's entirely up to you...but if you ask here, which is also up to you, you should understand that you'd asked and that fanatics are very accommodating and will answer you!

Well said, and and for aesthetics vs functionality I'm 100% on board FUNCTION OVER FASHION!! For one I'm a DIY fiend and I have repair insurance on her so I can dig it! I'm on top of my game. And I have mild OCD so shiat has to be done right lol and as for the fanatics I don't mind their opinions as long as they don't mind mine! Lol

seems like a fair comparison. One picture with no girls, the other with scantly clad ones.

So one is denting your hood and the other putting her stiletto heel into your fender. It makes it a tough choice for me which photo I like better!

That attitude is fine with me. It just gets irritating when on any post someone asks a question about an appearance mod and the first response is always about maintenance and not answering the question. Answer the question, then you can recommend the maintenance. It's just in the way some of you come across as unfriendly to anyone wanting to dress their car up a little bit. That's beside the fact that half of the people who want to do mods are doing incredibly cheap mods anyway. These grilles are a few bucks to mod. What's he going to buy with that money instead, a new bleeder screw? i would have spent the $60 for hte emblems in another way, but that's for the owner to decide.
