Called a guy about an Ipad3 listed on craigslist. Meet him up and we agreed on $395 cash. It was brand new in the box and everything, he also had the receipt. I later looked at the receipt and realized that he bought the ipad for cash from the apple store right down the street about 30 days a go. I looked up the return policy and it was 14 days for the apple store. I walked up in there with my swag on a milly, told the apple dude I really needed some cash. He was a cool dude and cashed me out for $525.

The kid seemed pretty cool, super young. I was like "not like he will ever find out." But while I was at the apple store once the guy gave me the $525 I was like "ok thanks man...have a good one"...he was like "wait....you want your receipt?" "i responded. "no thats ok. thanks." his response. "i will just e-mail it to the e-mail listed on your receipt."....I thought nothing off it and walked out.




The e-mail is the kids email I bought it from.

I listed the Ipad for sale on the misc selling forum on this site. I then took it down due to me taking it back to the apple store this morning.

The kid even mentioned that he couldnt take it back. "tried to trade it in for the iphone5...but the return policy was expired."

That's because he stole it or is returning his parents gift.

Seller must have stolen it from a person as they were exiting the apple store, the receipt must have been in the bag too.

The apply by me doesn't have a return policy... If you don't like it, they take it back.
